Dr Abernathy was kind and gentle with both of our dogs on their initial new patient visit. She took the time to listen to our concerns and explained her rationale for the treatments she recommended. The receptionist was friendly as well and we were able to get in without a long wait. One of my pups is can be fearful at the vet but she was all wiggles. A very good sign indeed.
Dr. Abernathy is exceptional. Her knowledge, care, and thoughtful approach have given me so much confidence and peace of mind. She takes the time to assess everything carefully, and I always feel that my pup is in truly capable and compassionate hands. I am deeply grateful for the care we continue to receive at Animal Wellness Animal Center and would wholeheartedly recommend them, especially to anyone with an older pet who needs attentive, experienced veterinary care.

We love Dr. Apodaca and Bailey! They’ve been so responsive and wonderful to work with over the years. We get the two dogs (one mini poodle and one Aussie poodle) teeth cleaned every other year and shots done there. They are a great team that work there and always professional. The prices are similar to other places in town but with better service. We love coming here.

The place was clean and very inviting in. The staff was very welcoming. I brought my friend with her poodle and Dr. Apodaca absolutely steered us in the right direction. We couldn't be more pleased.
